Stephanie Aguayo is an inventive costumer and stylist that lives and works in her native city of Los Angeles, CA. A self taught textile and fiber artist, Stephanie fell in love with textiles and the rich history of the craft and it’s cultural context while living in Oaxaca and traveling throughout Mexico and Guatemala. 

 

 Her design practice focuses on illustration, costume design, embroidery, ageing & distressing of garments and dyeing fabric and thread with natural materials and plant matter. Stephanie's specialties include but are not limited too costume fabrication, costume supervisor, and contemporary costume design.

 She previously held a decade's long career as a marketer working for Sony and Paramount Media Networks. She studied Illustration and Design at Art Center College of Design and holds an Associate's Certificate in Costume Design from Los Angeles City College in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Colorado State University. 

 In her time off, you'll find her hiking, cooking at home and hanging with her cat, Winona.
